the buying process

Please read the following critical information as is describes the buying process including your obligations and risks associated with the purchase of the puppy.

Step 1: Application: Please fill out and submit the puppy application found here on the website.

Step 2: Interview: After review of your application, we will contact you for a Zoom, Facetime or Phone interview. If you do not hear back from us after submitting the application, we apologize. We receive many inquiries and puppy spots are limited.

Step 3: Deposit: After successful completion of steps 1 & 2, you will be asked to submit a five-hundred-dollar ($500.00) deposit for a puppy from a particular litter. The deposit is non-refundable unless there are not enough puppies born to the litter to match a puppy with each deposit. *

Step 4: Puppy Match: When the puppies are approximately 6-7 weeks of age we will contact you with information about the puppy we have matched for your family. This mostly entails us sending you a description of the puppy as well as some pictures. We do our best to accommodate requests for sex and color however we cannot guarantee that your puppy will be the sex and color you requested.  At this point, if you are not satisfied with the match, you as the buyer may choose not to go forward with the purchase, however your deposit will be forfeited. We will then find another home for the puppy.

Step 5: Payment: Payment in full for the puppy is due when the puppy is six (6) weeks of age. The price for the puppy is three thousand five hundred dollars ($3,500.00). Therefore, at this point considering the deposit made, three thousand dollars ($3,000.00) shall be due.  If payment is not timely made, we will notify you and payment will need to be received within two (2) days of such notification. If not, your deposit will be forfeited, and the puppy will be placed with another buyer.

Step 6: Visitation: After you are matched with your puppy (6-7 weeks of age), we will schedule a date with you for your family to visit. During this time you will be able to meet your puppy and get to know us a little.

Step 7: Puppy Pickup: We will schedule a date with you when the puppy is approximately eight (8) weeks of age to pick up the puppy. At this time both buyer and seller will sign the contract of sale / health guarantee / spay neuter agreement. A copy of this agreement is found here on this website. We recommend that you carefully review the agreement prior to pickup.  No changes can be made to the agreement. Please call us in advance with any questions regarding the contract of sale / health guarantee / spay neuter agreement.

Step 8: Forever Home: We hope you enjoy that special first car ride back home with your new puppy. It is a special moment

*   Common Question – You have given us a deposit. What happens if there are not enough puppies for each deposit submitted? We hope this never happens, but as you know, we cannot control mother nature! Which family is chosen to have the deposit returned? Under most circumstances, the family who placed the last deposit would be the family chosen.  However, it is within Kippy’s Farm sole discretion which deposits are returned in the event there are not enough puppies born to the litter to match a puppy with each deposit.
